Sure. Stephano Pilati brought back Ike Turner's coiffure as well as black lipstick with his austere Fall '08 collection for Yves Saint Laurent. However, it's Supreme's Tao Okamoto and her jet black mane that has fashion editors and stylists alike going crazy for asymmetrical chili bowl hairstyles. Not only has the Japaenese model secured a contract with Ralph Lauren, which is a major feat in the industry by anyone's standards, but she also has the people over at Dazed & Confused a tad bit impressed, too. For their May 2009 issue with recently crowned fashion Icon Beth Ditto wrapped in Alexander McQueen on the cover, the American songstress sports an eerily similar do to that of Okamoto. Is it a coincidence? I think not! Indeed, Phillip Lim's muse has a promising career ahead of her.

All of the model show cards have made their way to those clients that can make or break a girl's career. Now it's time to make some predictions. Some of them are pretty obvious, especially in the case of current Prada favorite Ymre Stiekema from One and Rose Cordero of Supreme.

It's rumored Yrme may have a NY exclusive courtesy of Calvin Klein and Rose has supposedly already shot a story with Terry Richardson for French Vogue.

Hype. Sometimes its warranted -- think Daria Werbowy and Toni Garrn -- and sometimes, well, think Catherine McNeil. That said, its fun to track the ebs and flows of the new blood each season. The front runner for the fall '09 season? Supreme's Rose Cordero or as the Dominican beauty's Facebook states, La Rosa Negra. Reportedly, she has editors and photographers alike all vying to work with her and is in the process of creating a major moment for herself.

In case you've just stumbled onto the internet, then you're probably unaware of the following blog phenomenons:

1. While it is completely and utterly annoying to read a post written in all capital letters, no one gets disowned from doing so or told by their English professor they're surprised they even made it out of elementary.

2. Blog frienemies. They're real!

3. Along with free stuff from PR companies and shoutouts from famous artists in their songs, bloggers love models.

Countless posts are dedicated to the thin wonders everyday. So its only natural that the agencies who represent these long-limbed beauties would also be interested in showing them some love.

DNA, Women, and most recently, Supreme have all created blogs that track the daily going-ons of their illustrious boards.

While One Management doesn't have a little informal online journal yet, they're newly re-designed website is bound to keep every client interested if not in their models definitely the web designers who put it together.

The models are split up into two categories aptly named "The Ones" and "Lil Ones." Each girl's work is presented in a type of faux vintage magazine which features their stats (height, dress size, eye color) and astrological sign.

It's cool. And if you're a fan of supermodels like Claudia Schiffer, Iman, and Bridget Hall or rising stars such as Aline Weber and Eden Clark, it's a great way to kill a couple of minutes.
