'The City' Gets Picked-Up for a Second Season

I'll make this short and sweet.

While at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, presumably picking up of tons of swag and taking in tons of amazing new films, Just Jared ran into Jay Lyon, who is more widely known to 'The City' followeres as Whitney's man.

Well, the two began chatting and Mr. Lyon revealed that 'The City' would be back for a second season. The end.

We're not ashamed to admit that we consume lots of reality television. And not all of it's the good. Although, none of it really ever is.

Anyways, our tastes are especially tacky and ridiculous in this area. Not only do we watch The Bad Girls Club on Oxygen faithfully each season, but also Bravo's The Real Housewives serious. In regards to the latter, we are particularly fond of the new series that follows Atlanta housewives. And guess what? It has just been given the green light for a second season.

Everyone: Ahhhhh!

According to People, "Bravo has picked up a second season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The network has not said when the show will return and whether or not all the women will be on the second season."

For those who didn't follow the first season, you definitely missed out. Here's a short list for what you've missed:

1. Conspicuously consuming large amounts of otherwise tacky and/or cheesy luxury goods.

2. Low budget bitches.

3. Married sugar daddies that support their hose under the alias of 'Big Papa.'

4. Drama, and lots of it.

5. Bad weaves and way too much makeup.

6. Didn't we mention there was lots of drama?

Suffice it to say, we're excited!
