It's almost over! Thank god. After two long years, we will finally have our 44th President named by the end of the night. Barring, of course, no shenigans take place. Right. Hopefully, we'll be able to name the victor by Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, tonight we'll be hopelessly starring at pundits on all the major networks in order to properly live twitter everything for those who won't be able to get near a television screen.
PS: We're going to be surrounded by a group of hooligans for most of the night. They like to do really weird things like serve free drinks and humor us all at the same time so if things tend to get a little "slow" right around midnight it's because we've been kidnapped.
Until then...

Just in case you wanted to support the presidential run of Barack Obama in a slightly more fashionable way, stylist Patricia Field has got you covered.
Meanwhile, if you really, really want to support Obama, make sure you come out and cast your vote for him on November 4th.
The parties have picked a candidate and now it's up to us to decide who'll be taking over the White House after George Bush leaves office.
Since the official election isn't until November, supporters of freshman Illnois Senator Barack Obama can contribute to his campaign by going to his site and donating. And supporters with a ridiculous wardrobe collection, well, you can swap your clothes to get your guy the funds to straight mollywop McCain in the fall.
On July 28th, a huge clothing swapping event is going to take place in TriBeCa, where proceeds will go to directly to support the Obama election campaign. To participate, you'll need to purchase a $10 ticket and bring along with you "a gently used designer piece" to the event.
It will occur from 6pm-9pm at the M1-5 Lounge: 52 Walker Street, New York, NY 10013.
