No. This isn't a leftover memento from one of my Kindergarten projects.

This piece of quirky jewelery comes from Maison Martin Margiela's jewelry line. The same one that boasts the charming bow tie ring I wrote a prose for a couple of weeks ago.

As the recent Independent article can attests, Margiela is brilliant and Marc Jacobs has looked to his archive for inspiration on his own collections.

So I'm going to go out on a limb and say there lies some deep meaning behind this $335 madness. But just in case there isn't, this is probably one of the easiest Maison DIY project ever.

If you get started now, you could make the matching paper clip bracelet to go along with your necklace before you go out this weekend. Riggghhhht.

I've never been good at wrapping presents or tying the pretty bows that are usually placed on top of the gifts.

My knots always look one sided and are most likely evidence that I may be suffering from ADD, so I usually try to stay away from them as much as possible.

Maison Martin Margiela must be suffering from the same unfortunate plight as myself: He's a crappy ribbon wizard.

The king of moonlit tees and convertible towel handbags has crafted this silver ring to resemble that of a shiny pre-made gift bow -- making it arguably the coolest piece of costume jewelry since Kenneth Jay Lane's animal bracelets.

For someone who isn't really in the position to be trying to make things pop-off with anybody right now, Gap has blocked the servers of Jezebel.
