Admittedly, the title for this post is spectacularly cheesy.
But it's Thursday, I'm still not quite awake yet, and the subject I'm referencing will make up for the C+ in the creative writing class I never plan on taking.
Last spring, Marc Jacobs -- before Suzy Menkes threatened to choke him -- presented a collection for his younger line, Marc by Marc, that consisted of 60s inspired Mary Tyler Moore-friendly skirts, color-blocked dresses, and coats.
While most of the piece have come and sold-out on sites like Shopbop, the Lego belts that were styled with several of the looks in the show have never seen the light of day -- except in cool fashion spreads.
That was, until now. The designers behind the playful Lego creations, twins Dee and Ricky, have just launched their website, which will now play host to their elusive bright-colored belts ($75) as well as heart broaches ($65).
So there, I just made someone's search a tad bit easier. And see, that misguided title of mine, it's not that bad after all. Right?
