Image Source: Style.comDid you you attend the Met Ball last night? If not, don't fret! I made it a point to stay glued to my time line, watching intently as instagram pictures of Gisele and Naomi came fast and quick. Here are few of the highlights of the lavish fete (or at least the red carpet) as told through tweets:

"Lauren Santo Domingo may have given birth like 20 minutes ago, but she IS at the " - {@TheCut}

"The is seriously better material than the Oscars. Like....FREIDA PINTO, WHY? " -  {@fuggirls}

"Beyonce tries her hardest not to fall over in her SUPER tight gown:

Rosie Huntington Whiteley. What's scarier- runway or acting? Depends what she's wearing

Music Video: Beyonce - "Sweet Dreams"

I'm back! Alive! And not totally hating the discipline known as biology! Yes, the five week course that temporarily made me separate from this blog has finally come to an end and now I can show this site and its devoted readers (somewhat ridiculous commenters) the attention they both deserve.

To get back in the swing of things, I thought I would post this latest offering from Miss Balmain herself, Beyonce. Directed by Adria Petty, "Sweet Dreams" has everything in it that sparked a million wannabe performances on Youtube: fierce back-up dancers, impeccable fashion, and great choreography. Even B's golden "Singles Ladies" Barbarella-esque gear makes it return towards the end of the four minute mini film.

Meanwhile, Fox's widely-anticipated fall show, Glee, will feature a special performance of Beyonce's "Single Ladies. To find out more about, check out Marc Malkin's column at E!.

Perez Hilton to Appear in French Vogue

Love him or hate him, Mario Armando Lavandeira has come a long way since that little coffee shop he would sit in all day, typing away at his laptop and critically lamenting over such things as "fire crotches" and bad lace front weaves.

Proof? The infamous blogger has just finished doing an interview with French Vogue. Yes, pick up your jaw off the floor dear reader. According to his Twitter account, the conversation with the Parisian tome took place over the weekend.

It's interesting because Perez's write-up in FV, regardless of how big or small, appears to be in step with Carine Roitfeld's most recent attempts to make her directional magazine more accessible to the masses, maybe like the ones who live in the United States.

Could this be why she did the piece with CNN? Is she auditioning for a potential job as the editor-in-chief of American Vogue? We guess only time will tell...

Beyonce and Adorable Nephew Promote Nintendo's Rhythm Heaven

If you haven't heard, the Nintendo DSi is a must-have accessory for any women worth her wait. No, really! They've made the portable gaming system in pink just for us and that's what we all like, right? Okay, but seriously the company has asked pretty much every female celebrity to star in its ad campaigns and it appears they've found a new spokesperson in that of Beyonce Knowles.

While the official commercial for
Rhythm Heaven has yet to hit the tube, GeekSugar caught up with the Single Ladies singer to talk Super Mario Bros and inadvertently watch her play with her super adorable nephew Julez at the shoot. To check out the precious moment, click play on the clip above.

Everyone together, please: Awwwwwwww!

Beyonce Does The April Issue of Italian Vogue

We're not sure if it's because Beyonce refuses to be showed up by her rival Rihanna and her daring fashion choices or because B was just tired of walking around with creations by mama Knowles, but the talented singer is determined to make her presence known in the fashion industry.

This year alone, she has worn Gareth Pugh at red carpet events, asked Thierry Mugler to design her I Am...Sasha Fierce tour outfits, fronted the cover of V, posed for the April issue of Vogue, and manged to sneak in a retro-feeling Tom Munro lensed spread in the current issue of Italian Vogue. Phew.

Did we mention Katie Grand gave the diva a shout out in the first issue of Love? Indeed, the singer is on fire and one can only imagine what else she has in store for the remaining months this year. Check out B's glamorous IV spread in our gallery.

Start making bets now: Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez and Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy are the nominees for the 2009 Womenswear Designer of the Year award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. [WWD]

Beyonce on what habits she has picked up from her husband Jay-Z in the current issue of Vogue: "I definitely have learned to be a little more picky from Jay. Because if something makes a lot of sense to everyone else, if he doesn't feel it, he's like, 'I don't want to talk about it.' Which is great." [Style]

Double Exposure, Bravo's New Reality Show

It's official.

Bravo is determined to be the new Style network. Sure, they have shows concerned solely about cooking and a few that document the lives of wealthy housewives from various densely populated cities across America, but there speciality is crafting fashion related television programming.

The likelihood Project Runway returns back to Bravo is slim to none. But in an effort to make up for the huge empty space Tim Gunn, Michel Kors, and Heidi Klum left behind, the cable network has plans of churning out several PR friendly shows this year.

So far, the following programs have been added to the line up: The Fashion House, which is most certainly inspired by Project Runway, The Rachel Zoe Project season two, Make Me A Supermodel season two, Sheer Genius, and Double Exposure.

The latter is the working title for a show which will document the lives of famed celebrity and high fashion photographers Markus Klinko and Indrani along with high-end stylist GK Reid, "giving viewers a taste of the fast-paced world of high fashion and celebrity photography."

And yes, you've seen their work. They've shot Lindsay Lohan, Kate Winslet, JLO, Mariah Carey's album cover for her '05 comeback record, and Beyonce's album cover for her debut solo record just to name a few.

New Music: Beyonce ft. R. Kelly - If I Were A Boy Remix

Here's a little mid-day pick-me-up:

First, forgive us. We could not find a proper mp3 of Beyonce's If I Were A Boy remix featuring the undisputed king perv of R&B, R.Kelly. So, much like everyone else who listens to music on Youtube, one will have to look at a picture for a few minutes to hear this track. But, hey. It's totally worth it. Especially if you have ex that's driving you kind of crazy right now or just want to listen to good music. Honestly, we think this version is better than the original.

An Open Letter to Ellen Degeneras

Dear Ellen,

Unlike you, we're not famous. We have no important ties within the entertainment community that would allow us to pick up the phone and book this kid, er, grown ass man parading around in leotard to Beyonce's Single Ladies on your beloved talk show.

But that's where you come. Really, you need to reach and touch this angel. Tis' the season for giving, no? Plus, how can you deny the fact that he has the whole routine down pat. It would be genius, Ellen. Just genius. We'll still love if you can't make it happen. However, we know you will want to give this bold man a minute or two to shine on the national stage. Watch the video if you don't believe us.

Sincerely,

Chic & Untroubled
