See, we had to give this post a really long title so as to express our unbridled joy for Gilt Groupe's upcoming Christian Louboutin sale.

Are you excited yet? Well, in case you plan on blowing your whole entire rent check this week and don't have a Gilt Groupe invitation here's our personal link.
See you there! Okay, you know what we mean.
Good morning, boys and girls!
Weren't expecting us? Well, get use to it! Starting today, we're going to bring you the latest in fashion, entertainment, and music news every weekend much like we do throughout the work week. So, sit back, finish up that last corner of coffee in your cup, and enjoy our light blogging schedule this Saturday afternoon.
Now, let's talk fashion. More specifically, the fast rising stock of Ford's Chanel Iman. Sure, the California native has been in the business for quite some time now but her career has kicked into overdrive recently with a fit of major bookings.
While her awkward House of Style of appearance probably didn't make waves with anyone tuning into MTV, Chanel's cameo on Gossip Girl made up for that. And as if hanging out with Chuck Bass wasn't cool enough, the PINK model has landed the cover of London's painfully hip I-D magazine. Viva la Chanel!
We're not sure if it's because Beyonce refuses to be showed up by her rival Rihanna and her daring fashion choices or because B was just tired of walking around with creations by mama Knowles, but the talented singer is determined to make her presence known in the fashion industry.
This year alone, she has worn Gareth Pugh at red carpet events, asked Thierry Mugler to design her I Am...Sasha Fierce tour outfits, fronted the cover of V, posed for the April issue of Vogue, and manged to sneak in a retro-feeling Tom Munro lensed spread in the current issue of Italian Vogue. Phew.
Did we mention Katie Grand gave the diva a shout out in the first issue of Love? Indeed, the singer is on fire and one can only imagine what else she has in store for the remaining months this year. Check out B's glamorous IV spread in our gallery.

The good thing about stylists like Nicole Formichetti keeping a blog is the fact that people who admire her work, say, us get to catch a sneak peak of her latest projects before their results in end up in our favorite glossy. That's how we were able to attain a glimpse of Lakshmi Menon's stunning cover for the April issue of Dazed & Confused. Donning the aqua number from Dolce & Gabana's spring '09 collection, the Givenchy campaign queen looks regal and poised as ever to dominate the accompanying editorial inside the magazine -- and by the way, she most certainly does.

Today, I take my very last mid-term. Amen. And while I'm slowing ridding myself of the pre-test stress, enjoy Marilyn's Arlenis Sosa Peña on the new cover of TIME Style & Design Magazine. I'll be back on Monday. Enjoy your weekend!
