This weekend, Leighton Meester is featured in New York Times Magazine. Before the Terry Richardson lensed spread debuts tomorrow in Sunday's issue, the actress sat down for a quick Q&A with Horacio Silva. In their conversation, the 23-year-old star discussed her forthcoming album, what it's like being hounded by the paparazzi, and Blair Waldorf's post-prep school plans. Here are a few highlights from the interview:

Blair Waldorf is college bound, ya'll:

It’s yet to be decided, but [Blair Waldorf] is definitely going to college — to N.Y.U. — and not wearing any more school uniforms. Thank god we’re not pretending we all get held back and just continue with high school like all those other high school shows. I guess I’ll wear magnificent clothes every day that don’t have anything to do with school.

Leighton will most likely be Jason Wu's date for the Costume Institute's Model Exhibit this spring:

He’s such a sweetheart. We actually went to Anna Wintour’s house for dinner. It was very cool and quite the fashion baptism by fire.

Lady Gaga better watch out:

Absolutely. I’m determined to no longer wear pants. The music is electric pop, with a little bit of rock element to it. It’s not like bubble gum — it’s actually very edgy.

And yes, it sucks to have scandalous parents when you're working on a show based on gossip:

This is the type of thing that you can’t be too sensitive about — it’s not like I did anything that’s worth talking about. I love my parents very much, but people either continue or break the patterns of what their life should be and I just want to completely break whatever patterns would lead me to the same life choices that they made.

Need proof? The recently engaged designer persuaded the powers that be at LVMH to allow muse Sophia Coppola and pal Kanye West design a handbag and sneaker collection, respectively, under the guise of Louis Vuitton.

Admittedly though, François Nars -- legendary makeup guru and owner of a rather lovely island -- didn't need his buddy to be welcomed back once again with open arms by fashion's most directional players, but nonetheless, those 65 distinct 1980s club kid inspired looks he created for each model at Marc's Fall '09 runway presentation has him nicely positioned to make more noise next season.

As reported by The Imagist, Nars is now being represented by The Collective Shift -- the same agency that represents such heavyweights as Terry Richardson and Inez & Vinoodh, both of whom as Wayne points out regularly shoot for Vogue Paris and other coveted tomes. The results of this new union should manifest within the next few months, but we wouldn't be surprised if the icon managed to get credits on the aforementioned photographers shoots. Stay tuned.

One thing is for certain, though: if the Nars comeback is anything that of Marc's fit model Jaime Bochart, expect to see the man's work immaculately executed and everywhere it counts at the better end of this year. Maybe even on the faces of those late 90s-early 00s supermodel that seem to be coming back so strong as of late.

It's rumored Yrme may have a NY exclusive courtesy of Calvin Klein and Rose has supposedly already shot a story with Terry Richardson for French Vogue.
