So. This is kind of weird. Lindsay Lohan is going on a media blitz because of her most recent break-up with girlfriend, Samantha Ronson. Why? I have absolutely no idea. Maybe the leggings and fake tanning aren't selling like they use to a couple of days ago? Maybe Ivan Bert gave the one-time actress the proverbial "hell no" on that IMG modeling contract idea? I dunno, but Lilo and her camp want a kind of public comeback, of sorts. You know, one that begins with a cheesy photo shoot and ends a couple of days later on Ellen Degeneres' couch and has absolutely nothing to do with reviving her acting career. To view the awkward pictures, click here. And if you want to watch Lindsay on Ellen, tune in this Thursday at 4PM EST.

Nylon Has Turned Digital
Now, before you go waving your fist in the air, damning this little recession we're in, it should be noted that everyone's favorite hipster magazine, Nylon, isn't going anywhere. Phew.
In what appears to be an attempt to cut costs though, Nylon has decided to release its forthcoming issues digitally, indefinitely, starting with their tenth anniversary glossy with Lindsay Lohan on the cover. Or at least that is what we've been lead to believe by way of our copy arriving in our email inbox last week. Honestly, this is a smart move regardless of what the motives behind it were.
First of all, going digitally only compliments Nylon's already strong internet presence. Plus, who doesn't catch up on all of the latest fashion news and editorials on the web before they go scoop a issue up at the bodega around the corner.
Update: Nylon isn't going digital -- well, not entirely. From Nylon's Faran Krentcil via Gawker:
"Anyone who's bought a NYLON print subscription will continue to get it. That email went out to readers who'd signed up for a free trial subscription that recently expired.
All our paid subscribers will continue to get their NYLON in print, and if any of the trial subscribers want a NYLON in print, they can call the 800 number. It takes two seconds. You can do it during a commercial break for Gossip Girl.
I can see how the email would be confusing out of context (I didn't write it, alas) but figured you should have the whole story, especially since nobody @ Gawker contacted us to verify."
And now you know.

Lindsay Lohan, Now Represented by IMG?
Somehow, in between throwing 'bows and hawking self-tanner, Lindsay Lohan managed to set aside enough time to pose for the cover of Nylon's tenth anniversary issue. Apparently though, the hipster magazine didn't have too much of a hard time convincing the troubled starlet to pose for the issue. "I love doing photo shoots… I mean, if I could just sign with IMG and do ad campaigns and model more, I’d do that… because that’s fun for me. That’s not work." To which IMG's head honcho Ivan Bert responded, "She's a beautiful girl and obviously knows a lot about fashion. Providing that she was contractually free, we would take a meeting." So could this mean that there is a potential contract in the works? We're not sure. But we almost love Lilo's most recent Interview cover and editorial shoot as much as Mean Girls. Sigh.

Double Exposure, Bravo's New Reality Show
It's official.
Bravo is determined to be the new Style network. Sure, they have shows concerned solely about cooking and a few that document the lives of wealthy housewives from various densely populated cities across America, but there speciality is crafting fashion related television programming.
The likelihood Project Runway returns back to Bravo is slim to none. But in an effort to make up for the huge empty space Tim Gunn, Michel Kors, and Heidi Klum left behind, the cable network has plans of churning out several PR friendly shows this year.
So far, the following programs have been added to the line up: The Fashion House, which is most certainly inspired by Project Runway, The Rachel Zoe Project season two, Make Me A Supermodel season two, Sheer Genius, and Double Exposure.
The latter is the working title for a show which will document the lives of famed celebrity and high fashion photographers Markus Klinko and Indrani along with high-end stylist GK Reid, "giving viewers a taste of the fast-paced world of high fashion and celebrity photography."
And yes, you've seen their work. They've shot Lindsay Lohan, Kate Winslet, JLO, Mariah Carey's album cover for her '05 comeback record, and Beyonce's album cover for her debut solo record just to name a few.
