1. What is Chic & Untroubled?

Founded in 2007, Chic & Untroubled is a social media, fashion, beauty, film, entertainment, paper and technology blog.

2. Chic & Untroubled, eh? What’s up with the name?

Well, I’m glad you asked! I love the fashion & beauty industry but the fake affected speech and cold stares? Not so much. Everyone has been the victim of a sartorial misstep or bad hair day (not Queen Anna, of course), yet there are far too many fashion people who front as though they’ve been perfect all their lives. That’s not what you’ll come across at C&U.

We talk about cutting-edge fashion trends and that one time I wore my mom’s blood compression sock to school (I promise to tell you all about it). Sure, we’ll keep you up to date on McQueen’s Met Exhibit. But how cruel would this world be without updates on new Pajama Jean styles?

If anything, the title of the site speaks to the editor’s sense of humor about the industry and the sarcastic/fun voice most of the content is written in.  (Editor’s note: In my mind, I’m really, really funny.)
