OH AND YES THOSE ARE SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS ON BRANDON'S SHIRT BY DRIES VAN NOTEN." Aw, Ye. If only my guy friends were as well versed in high fashion as you.

After posting an absurd amount on Twiiter about their forthcoming mixtape, the Star Trak duo behind Chester French have finally released Jacques Jams Vol 1: Endurance. And you know what? It's really, really good! It features appearances by everyone from Janelle Monae and Solange Knowles to Diddy and Talib Kweli. Even better, it's a compltetly free which means the money you would have dished out on this 25 track joint can be used to purchase the group's debut album, Love The Future, when it drops on April 21st.

Since Friday, "aspiring" R&B singer Cassie has been alluding to doing something quite drastic in her life. To be specific, "something that displays the "I don't give a fuck" attitude that was always present, but never showcased." Indeed, the former Wilhelmina model did do "something" but unfortunately it doesn't reek of the "bad ass" vibe she was initially going for.

As the picture at left confirms, Cassie has gone and shaved half of her head to the surprise of her fans and everyone else who always thought she had never dabbled with the sherm. Apparently though, the Bad Boy recording artist isn't too worried about the naysayers. "They ask why?? Lol... B/C I WOKE UP AND FELT LIKE IT!!! YEEEAHHH!!! LOL :) Have a great weekend!xx"

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that Cassie was going for a high fashion editorial coiffure a la Alice Dellal. Instead, however, she has winded up looking much like Mr. T's daughter. Hopefully, Diddy can fix this. Although, I don't even think Ciroc will help. Especially if she's the only one who is suppose to be drinking it. Oy.

After some minor difficulties last week (my WiFi wasn't working), everything is finally fixed now and I'm ready to blog. To get us started on this beautiful Saturday morning, I thought we would start with a word from C&U's unofficial mascot, B. Scott. Have you all heard Halle Berry on the radio yet? No, I'm not talking about the actress! I'm actually referring to the song that bares her name. Someone has even created a dance to accompany the tune a la "The Stanky Legg." Still sounds unfamiliar? I'm not sure if it's because of the tye-dyed leggings or because of the superb editing of the video at around 0:25 itself but I probably watched this 100 times yesterday. Enjoy and don't try this at home unless you're a pro.
