Last week, it was reported by WWD that New Yorkers would finally be able to peruse the clothing racks of Topshop on Thursday, April 2nd -- which will coincide with the realease of Kate Moss' new collection. Now, there have been press releases similar to this one from the giant fast-fashion mecca in the past announcing official opening dates and, well, the damn store is still not open for business.
Nonetheless, Telegraph's Hilary Alexander caught up with Sir Phillip Green, you know, Kate Moss' play uncle, for an interview about his NY flagship. Amongst other things, the billionaire says that delays for the stateside opening included that of fire, "They flooded us, we had a fire, and everything possible you could have happened had to us...so it's been a great learning curve." Enjoy the chat.
