Last night, the highly anticipated Coco Chanel flick aired on Lifetime, starring Shirley MacLaine as the legendary designer in the latter part of her life and actress Barbora Bobulova played the younger Chanel, when she was still going by the name Gabrielle.

Since the fashion film will be on repeat over at the network for a couple of weeks, I want dissect the plot because, honestly, it's worth seeing. OK. Admittedly, Hurricane Ike took away the rest of my plans tis weekend, so it was a good fifth choice Saturday night activity.

Anyways, if you can control your ADD long enough to watch the three-hour-long movie you'll be able to find out how Coco created the LBD, the accessory she started off making to pay the bills, and reason why she named her first fragrance Chanel No. 5.

Warning: The accent MacLaine uses while playing Chanel is everything but French. This will undoubtedly ignore you. In fact, the majority of her scenes will. But thankfully, the film focuses on Coco's life in her 20s and 30s.
