Giles Deacon: A graduate of Central Saint Martins, friend of Tom Ford, proponent of wicked and whimsy fashion, and the man behind a new inexpensive diffusion line aptly named Gold by Giles Deacon that looks eerily similar to the spring looks being sold a Forever21.
Okay, so you can't find rip-offs at the latter (yet), but that whole I'm-made-of-itchy-polyester-and-will-fade-after-the-first-wash vibe that every item at Forever21 carries with it has kind of taken hold of Deacon's new line.
It's not terribly bad, but it just seems like a waste of energy - kind of pointless.
And the one thing we were willing to bust out our credit for - the pink rose-colored, aren't even up on the site yet. Ultimately, the only thing remotely Giles about this collection are the advertisements, which feature a punky Agyness Deyn.
