Macy's Taps Christine Staub for Bar III Collection

Introducing Where Are They Now, a new feature that will highlight some of the most talked about reality stars' forays into fashion. We will highlight not only the good, but also the bad. Hopefully, you'll enjoy this kind of weekly post. Nevertheless, your editor will feel slightly less embarrassed about her consumption of bad reality television shows.

Name: Christine Staub

Age: 17

Origins: The Real Housewives of New Jersey

Season: 1,2

Most Remembered For: Passing out at a runway presentation due to nerves/dehydration/ unapologetically crazy mother.

Claim to Fashion: Christine was discovered by Giles Bensimon and subsequently signed to IMG Models development board with his help. Since then, Staub has been booked by Style Rookie's Tavi Gevinson for a Black Book spread, featured in Teen Vogue and earned (most likely) a hefty Starbucks booty for doing a lookbook for Macy's Bar III collection (pictured at left).

Chic Trailer: 'Melancholia' by Lars Von Trier

"Just an American wedding / they don't mean too much / they don't last enough / we had an American wedding / now what's mine is yours / American divorce" - Frank Ocean

First, I would like to thank Lars Von Trier for giving me an excuse to mention Frank Ocean's Nostalgia, Ultra. The amazing (I must think of a new complimentary adjective) mixtape features a track entitled American Wedding which laments on the peculiar and generally tragic nature of unions in America. It's beautiful, poetic, and sad -- very much like the trailer for Lars Von Trier's latest flick. In Melancholia, Justine (Kirsten Dunst) and Michael (Alexander Skarsgard) celebrate their wedding with loved ones only to have their joy vanish as the planet Melancholia inches closer toward Earth. Enjoy.

Chic or Troubled: Are you a Creeper?

Demonia By Pleaser Women's Creeper-101 Lace-Up

$56.95 by Pleaser USA at Endless.com

Each season, Madame Prada will introduce a piece that is, well, questionable.

Sure, the mannequin in the Steven Meisel lensed ad campaign looks amazing with matted hair and yellow knee-highs. But everyone else? That is debatable.

So without further ado, I introduce the 'creeper.' It appeared on Prada's spring/summer runway and has become popular with all of the right people. In fact, the unconventional (and $745!) platform sold-out in every Manhattan Prada store two months ago.

What do you think: Chic or Troubled?
